| The 680 Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya, was the political centre of Somalia’s government in exile (for many years). The Somalian parliament has more members than any other parliament in the world. Its members were mainly former warlords and they, too, lived and met in the Hotel. There, the exile government was governing mainly itself – for the lack of an own country. Their political influence hardly reached beyond the 680 – the Hotel Somalia.
